Being a family historian

I have been appointed as the family historian, which means that I am a keeper of info. Pictures, names, scanning photos onto a shared album, using ancestry.com, recording conversations with elders!

It’s so important and you won’t regret it. It all started from middle school family tree project. It really is the gift that keeps giving.

I recently found out that my great great grandma was a famous cigar roller in Puerto Rico and people would travel from San Juan to her house in new cars and it was a huge spectacle. I was told this story sitting on the porch that overlooked the spot where she would sell them! 💝
